What is the event that you would like to register from the production? How can this event be turned into a digital signal?
-
Which hardware do you need from Evocon?
- The easiest plug and play setup usually consists of an Evocon device, a sensor and cables.
- If the line or machine is already collecting data, hardware-free solution can be used instead.
-
Evocon devices require a wired network connection and power. Evocon device 3 supports Wi-Fi as well.
- Sensors are connected via standard industrial M12 connectors.
- Evocon device 2 relies on DHCP to configure the network address and requires access to the internet over ports 80 and 443 (HTTP and HTTPS).
- Evocon device 3 can use both DHCP and Static IP configuration and it requires access to the internet over port 443 (HTTPS and MQTT protocols).
-
We can provide an industrial sensor that works with your setup.
- We have optical sensors with object detection, optical sensors with reflector and inductive sensors in stock. If you would like to use an existing signal from a sensor or PLC output, we can provide a (solid state) relay. Laser sensors, measuring wheels and buttons or switches can be used with the Evocon device as well and can be purchased through Evocon.
-
Standard sensors come with a 2-meter signal cable to connect to the Evocon device.
- If longer cables are required, we can provide 5m, 10m or 25m options. If a longer cable is required, we can provide a pair of male and female A-type M12 connectors that local electricians can connect to a cable (minimum 3 wires with 0.34mm2 cross-section).

If you are already gathering data from the machines, it is possible to use a hardware-free solution and send us data over HTTPS API. We can provide more details and examples for that connection upon request. Read more on the hardware-free solution.
