This overview provides a simplified understanding of each input mode's purpose.
Mode 0 - Input Disabled:
- Not commonly used.
- Disable unused inputs to prevent signal interference or if the connected station is inactive.
- Timeout, On filter, Off filter, Scaler, and Precise minute mode settings are not relevant.
Mode 1 - Single Signal Mode:
- Designed for transmitting a data packet (circle to the Shift view) when a valid signal goes from HIGH to LOW (24V to 0V).
- Suitable for cases with up to 4 signals per minute. For more signals, consider Scaler or Minute mode.
Mode 2 - Scaler Mode:
- Similar to Mode 1 but allows you to count a specific number of signals before sending the data packet to the server (e.g., every 5 signals).
Mode 3 - Minute Mode:
- Sends the sum of signals every minute.
- Precise minute mode can adjust the timestamp for the signals to be sent at HH:00:00, if the timstamp of the last signal is between HH:MM-1:50 and HH:MM-1:59.
Mode 6 - Time Measuring Mode:
- Sends the duration of the HIGH (24V) signal in seconds.
- Updates are sent every 60 seconds or when the signal goes LOW and the OFF filter is reached.
