It is possible to duplicate signals from existing sensors and send them to Evocon device. One usually safe option are inkjet coder sensors, as they are always operating correctly, otherwise products without coding would be produced. The steps to follow are:
- Check if the sensor is 24Volt PNP (this is the most common type)
- Use a M12 4pin splitter (or M8 if needed)
- Get the second cable you need
- Carefully wire it according to the drawing

- Open Evocon device and remove the red “jumper” from the input that is being connected. This isolates the 0V of the sensor from 0V of the device. Input (pin 4) is isolated optically.
