These settings allow all users to modify how they see information and features in Shift View to create a more personalized experience. This is user-based and the set preferences apply to all stations in Shift View.
The dialog for this can be opened from the top right corner of Shift View (⚙️ icon):
This opens the settings modal:
Here you can set the preferences regarding the following:
“Standard” or “Standard + Fun” Mr Evocon - the option is to always see the standard version of Mr Evocon or see the standard version and the fun version (when available). The fun version includes Mr Evocon, which we usually introduce during the holidays or special events (for example Halloween or Christmas).
Shift quantity & Hour quantity - select whether you would like to see good quantity or total quantity (good + scrap) in the shift total and hourly quantities area. By default it is set to good quantity.
Unit - users can choose if they prefer to see quantities in primary or alternative units. This option is only available if products have alternative units defined. More on this below.
Hide checklist pins from timeline - if you have the Checklist feature enabled, you can choose to hide the pins from Shift view here. By default it is unchecked, meaning the pins are visible. For clients, who are not using Checklists, this option is disabled.
Hide changeover button from footer - most Evocon users are doing changeovers straight from the timeline, and that’s why there is now an option to hide it from the footer entirely and make the interface of Shift View cleaner.
The option to show alternative units in Shift view is in the View settings dialog as mentioned above.
Here is a brief overview of how this functionality works:
